Procrastination ... & European ingenuity
Apr. 28th, 2005 12:05 amI am supposed to work on an assignment but I needed to take time out, I can't upload anything to my webspace anyway, so I will take these few minutes to post :)
This morning I watched live the take off of the new Airbus 380. WOWSA!! That surely is a big bird and hopefully will have a lot of take offs and touch downs in the next 50 years or so. Save winds!
Very impressive how this big plane took off and landed again. Very, very nice and for a Pan-European effort a huge success.
Today was a weird day, beautiful sun shine intercepted by rain and hail but the crocus and the other spring flowers are now in full bloom and they all looked pretty in the sunshine, rain glistening off their leaves.
bhool saare jhamele, dekh phoolon ke mele
badi rangeen hai yeh duniya
It fits this day to a tee - it was a wonderful day with all the flowers. AND! I am feeling better and better now. For the first time in days, months, YEARS, I feel as if this time the remission is going to work. I feel fitter, lighter and more healthier than ever since 1996. Jeesh that is nine years now. I mean since my first chemo I have been feeling sick and weak and somehow off and it had multiplied during the second, third and forth chemo therapy.
But now I can walk again for a lengthy amount of time, I don't get cramps/pains immediately and feel like a wee babe. I just hope that it will continue to be like this for the rest of my life :) I don't want to be a cancer patient anymore, I am fed up!
