Just finished watching Season of the sun (Taiyou no Kisetsu) and even though I hated the things Tatsuya did to his rich friends in the end when he had changed to become a better person, I really felt pity and sorry for him. And I pity Yuki and Shin-chan. Poor young man, having to watch his love like this.
If this is the case with ALL Takizawa dramas, I really don't want to watch anymore of him. That is the second one without a happy ending.

Ooooh, I am on ep 1 and am loving it.

Forbidden Love has a happy ending. So does Boku Dake No Madonna (though I don't like it as I hate the heroine). So does Sattomi Hakkenden. And the new SP of Romeo and Juliet. :)

Taiyou no Kisetsu is the only Takki drama I like so far... but tortured, emotional roles do seem to be his thing or something.

Oh I liked it as well, but somehow I have a problem with Hideaki's acting and/or his facial expressions. I already noticed it with Kame and Jin but did you notice that being emo for most Johnn'y boys means staring strainfully off into the distance without a frown or wrinkle on their foreheads? Do they use Botox or something?

Satomi Hakkenden bored me to death and I never got around to watch the second part and I deleted the taiga eventually.
Haven't seen Boku Dake no Madonna, though I did download the first ep and watched it but never got around to d/ling the others. So beside Kisetsu and Majo no Jouken I haven't seen much of Hideaki.

Oh, ** sigh ** .. I was going to watch this, but I getting so soft, can't do with bad endings AT ALL at the moment..

Have you watched "Strawberry on the Shortcake"? I was wondering if this was another "bad ending" drama you mentioned. I want to watch this eventually.

I agree on acting. Takki is sooooo pretty, but I am not overly impressed with his acting.

yeah you can watch Boku dake no madonna... Antique has a weird ending but the entire series is weird :p
i was really stressed when i was watching Taiyou no Kisetsu i remember hating the fact that all the problems are repeating just in the middle of the drama when you really think it's over ... but i was really into this drama if not i wouldn't have been that angry against Tatsuya :p poor Takki i was really angry at him when i was watching that drama ^^ but the ending is really beautiful...
this i why i take some time between two Takki dramas, cause i know i'll be really involved and since i don't know how the ending will be i want to be prepared for anything ^^;

I hated the ending ... not for the sake of Tatsuya but because of Eiko. She was so talented and then to loose her life because she wanted to save his life. I was like WTF?!

I did watch SOS and though it was cute I routed for the second OTP more.

His acting is a bit weird and I think his range is not very ... ummm varied. I think he can only do the brooding youth.

Hmmm, I agree. Most of them don't really have much range. It's not that they're bad actors, they do a well enough job in the roles they're cast in, but it's nothing to write home about. Initially I thought Takki had promise because he seems to pick very different projects to do - but then I watched some of them and realised most of his characters pretty much require the same facial expressions.

SoS has a happy ending but I haven't seen the drama so no idea if it's good.
