Chiquita - everything but banana

Yesterday, Chica and the gang went out for a little stroll and his hubbiness had his digital camera with him. He didn't accompany us but waited in front of the house. While Cenour saw him, Chica was a wee bit bewildered as she has a little cold and didn't smell him. Her eyesight is not the best but you normally don't notice it as she is a very clever little dog who has learnt to pace herself and gauge distances. But yesterday, she was really startled when this strange human squatted in front of her without saying anything and holding that thingemegig in front of her. And this is the result - she is just so cute when upset :)

Oh yes, my husband sometimes says that their fur will wear thin soon from all the hugging and cuddling :)
But seriously, they are cute and hopefully they notice that they are loved. It took both of them long enough to get owners who love them instead of mistreating them.
