As you might know Germany is not the best of places to be a lover of J/K pop and rock. The best of times you are seen as mildly eccentric musicwise and most of the times you are simply crazy or just want to be different at all costs.
Anyway, imagine my big ass grin when I drove in the car with some friends who had all insisted that I do NOT play my CD of Korean and Japanese pop while I was driving - in my car. So I switched to radio and lo and behold they played Oppa Gangnam Style :P

Take that bitches!!! :D


ETA: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, LJ??? WTF??!! Now you simply jump to the single entry instead of giving me the option to few ALL entries in my own damn journal. And that new entry thingymegig also is stupid :(

Oh yes :) But it is soooo wonderful to hear Korean music on public German radio and in discos :) Hopefully this will increase the interest in Asian music over here.

Psy is supposed to be releasing an English song, I think in January. (It was supposed to come out in November but they decided Gangnam Style is still so popular they wanted to ride that wave a bit longer.).

He should do a collab with Big Bang, SHINee etc. so they can get some air time here. I wish I could just go to a concert or listen to them on the radio, just like any other person with 'normal' tastes :s
