scottishlassAutumn ... seems to be upon us today ... The wild geese have been gathering in our neck of the woods (or rather city) and their arrow formations have been a part of my morning and evening routines with my dogs for about a week now. This morning it was actually really cold so that I had to get out my old wool cardigan to walk the dogs.
I love the change of the seasons - even though it is sad to let summer go. The beach, the sand ... the warm water and sun, the fun things we did on the beach with the dogs. To soak it all in, and to cherish before we move onto the glory of the next season to come, we spent almost every afternoon on the beach, digging our toes into the white sand, watching the dogs playing in the water and just storing it up for the long winter months ahead.
Autumn is just another day or two away - if we are lucky perhaps a week - and with it will come more fun things like Chandini chasing the autumn leaves and Cenour enjoying the cooler temperatures and sporting his silky winter fur again.
