Watching a recent concert by Simply Red and it brought back a lot of memories from the late 80's and also early 90's. Good Ol' Mick still has it. I still remember his music was my little guilty pleasure back when I was a Goth :)
I give it all up for you ... Yes I would! Gosh, I was so young at that time and I was so in love. So much in love with life, so much in love with my first love. Such a crazy, wild time. Sometimes, in moments like this I wish I could turn back the time and just grab the opportunity. When he held me in his arms to show me how to play mini-golf, when we talked in his kitchen preparing food.
Oh well, it is all gone now .. and I have found a love that is deep and sound and frightens me everyday. Afraid to lose it, afraid because of all the wealth of emotions I feel for this one individual.
Love is scary when it is fulfilled.
