Of teachings and learnings ....
Oct. 24th, 2008 11:31 pmWow, what a day ... first off, I willg et back to you and answer all your well wishes :) Seriously, this past week has taken a lot out of me and this Friday was the first day I felt really human again.
Today, some fabric for a new baby quilt arrived, all pinks with little roses and butterflies. The pattern is already done and I can start cutting and arranging the flimsy on Sunday. I hope I can finish it before the baby is there, but as her mama is romping around Italy at the moment I think I have a little time left.
Additionally, today was the first of hopefully many tandem lessons between me and Yuriko. Yuriko learns German and I am her tandem partner for German conversation. In return she teaches me Kanji and Japanese conversation. I'm soooooo excited ... about homework LOL ... I learnt my first easy Hiragana today, and learnt to write my name in Hirakana, Katakana and Kanji :D *jumps around totally stoked*
It is a good day :) And I wish you all a peaceful and happy weekend :D
ETA: HAPPY BIRTHDAY
wishkey I hope life will not throw any more stones into your path. Gal, keep going, you are great!!!
