Have to get ready for my ray treatment ... I'm so dead tired I almost fell asleep in the shower :( BUT! I have finished my work load which is a stone load off my chest.
Watched Hana Kimi up to ep 09 last night and I am SQUEEING like mad. Even though they changed a couple of events around, they stuck to the original manga and it is love, love, LOVE.
Jiro Wang as XuiYi (Nakatsu) is just laugh out funny, this guy has a great potential for comedy and yet you cannot help but feel sad for him as XuiYi. He is gradually accepting himself as being gay because he has feelings for RuiXi, and it will all blow up in his face when he finds out the truth. The scenes with him imagining to be together with RuiXi are just hilarious, Ella and him can do over the top silliness very well.
I really like Wu Zun as Quan. I didn't like him in Tokyo Juliet, but here he just fits. He even looks a bit like Sano in the manga.
But man, they are really driving the fact home that when you are gay it is okay. I love that about HK. Nothing icky or awkward and the way RuiXi and Quan are behaving with each other, they sure do look like a couple. A cute gay couple. Even their schoolmates are picking up on it and even though some do wonder what is going on, they are all fine with it. I think if HK ever comes on German TV the church and those religious right would flip. :)
Oh and damn Jiro makes one pretty girl :)
