FS Peacekeeper Wars *spoilers after cut*

scottishlassI don't know what to say ... I'm still blown away even hours and days after I have watched it. All in all this was high entertainment and a lot of big block buster films can hide behind this genius. I mean it. Normally lots of money goes into either the script or the CGIs with movies, here the money went into both and into trusted hands, no new directors, no new script writers ... it was all in the trsuted hands of the Aussie-Ami connection and well done.
A big FRELLING THANK YOU to Henson and the cast and crew. Thank you for the closure.
The opening sequence is fabulous, we only hear Aeryn in voice over and see Crichton dead-like on one of the curved sofa-beds of Moya with the golden blankets. Three is not such a scary number ... yeah right.
AND WOW .. the opening credits are like in a movie film ... while a Scarran dreadnought explodes on rings that look like the Saturn rings but are not in our milkyway. HUZZAH!!
Then there is a cut to PK high command carrier and Scorpius. He and Sikozu are running an incentive attack on the Scarrans without the knowledge of Peacekeeper High Command and they appear to be winning.
Another cut and we are back on the waterplanet and I swear I could pick up some tunes from Under The Sea in Guy Gross' music while Rygel was under the water gathering the crystals of John and Aeryn. An animated Rygel, beautifully swimming and one remembers that he is really a swamp creature and water is his element.
From then on all is a blur ... more kaboom and bang as Scorpius' genius in war strategy seems to pay off. They appear to be winning that battle, while John and Aeryn are put together again by the Eidelons. Oh Hezmana, it was good to see those two back in action again, working as one team, drawing their weapons as one, inquiring as one. I loved the by-play of Chi and D'Argo with their intoned "Congratulations!" to Crichton's she agreed to be my wife speech. I went all fuzzy inside :)
Of course, our heroes don't have a peaceful rest. Scorpius and the Scarrans are after them again and they need to flee, with Sikozu and Scorpius riding shotgun.
And Moya starbursts again .. and Pilot is there with the little 1812 DRD :) All the beloved little details are back, even Moya's beautiful curved bronzed walls.
Unfortunately the Scarrans always know where our crew is and is in hot pursuit.
I really thought they were going on my nerves with the baby thing but I was surprised that it didn't ... the little Crichton of course was the incentive to remain safe and sound, otherwise it would have all been in vain.
Three death of Moya crewmates, but Ka D'Argo's was the worst. He died courageous and kicking ass.
Lots of plot lines were tied up with a nice bow without having them forced or rushed. It just all fell into place and I have the feeling as if I have just seen a complete season of Farscape and not just merely 4 hours.
And they brought the terrace back ... the terrace we have only seen in Exodus to Genesis and which prominently features in fanfiction ever since.
I LOVED IT!!! Gosh my waterworks turned on halfway part one and continued to leak throughout the whole 4 hours.
