Hello October ...

While the weather is far better than in September ... we actually had sunshine and nice temperatures over 20°C, apple harvesting drives me crazy .. we have far too many apples and much too little time. :s

And yesterday my external hdd did a vanishing act. The little LED light is still blue when I turn it on but otherwise it sits on my desk like a dead cat :s Tomorrow I will try to open it and put the HDD into my computer .. keep your fingers crossed that this will work ... on that particular HDD there are lots and lots (like ALL) HQ jpegs of the last FOUR years of our dogs as well as ALL my movies *whimpers*

Oh and I almost forgot ... for quite a week now, my dish washer is working ... I had to postpone using it as some thingamegig was missing from the plumbing and it could have caused flooding in my kitchen so I had to wait for two bloody weeks till IKEA send me a new plumbing system for my sink and dishwasher WITH the spare part in it. And now I have a dish washer ... YAY!!!! I love my mechaporn :D

ok, since we can get up to -20°C here in winter, 10° isnt that bad yet, but I don't like it nevertheless ^^

since I was born on a sea and sunny place I think I will probably die with -20°C or at least be very depressed!!

oh, that would be bad - so you should never visit Austria in Winter ^^ (although it is beautiful when snow is everywhere ^^)

Don't get me wrong I love snow, I have been to Germany 3 times but it was never winter so I don't know exactly how I'm gonna react to -20°C or maybe I will need 2 coats to wear lol but as much as I know our winters are a bit different because you have more dry weather so even though the temperature is pretty down the weather it's not that much uncomfortable comparing to more humid places where you can feel pretty cold with 10°C too but still at some point it's just a matter of habit.

well, such cold temperatures aren't usual though, but they can happen and yeah, it's just a matter of habit, often you really feel colder when it has 10° and for example wind is blowing..

Now that I recall the first time I went to Venice it was January and it was -14°C and the wind was really a pain but fortunatly I didn't catch a cold maybe because I was too much excited so I think maybe I can handle 6 more lol

P.s. sorry Schottishlass for taking over your post with our "weather discussion" lol

oh~ apologizes too! I'm sorry! (actually I forgot that we write in your journal)

well, for some reason the last time I remember when I was really, really cold, so friggin cold that I put on everything I could find was in Tokyo in February - but I think my problem was that I was ill and so I was feeling like on the north pole ^^

No worries :) Chat away :)

The lowest temperature I have experienced so far was last year's winter - between minus 10 and minus 20 everything was possible. That was the lowest I had ever experienced in my neck of the woods . Germany isn't that cold over all, well not where I live anyway.
We even went on dog walks in that cold (http://scottishlass.livejournal.com/430900.html)

Oh my, those cute puppies are so adorable, my sweet heart used to love snow so much and actually it's not that cold when snowing it's the wind that most of the time turns the temperatures down brrr!!
