Baby, it's so cold outside

Even though the weather forecast told us last night, this weekend would be warmer, I ain't feeling it yet. It is so cold, I decided to make a warming winter soup. Good thing I had pumpkin chunks frozen last October and a defreezed some today to make a good pumpkin soup stock with courgettes, red sweet peppers and spring onions.
His Hubbiness™ doesn't like pumpkin but he also was feeling so cold and the soup looked so tempting, he ate a bowl as well. He even said it was delicious and asked why the heck I don't make this more often. *shakes head* He who doesn't like vegetarian food, esp. vegetables and embarrassed me last year when we visited friends and got creamy pumpkin soup and he behaved like we would poison him? I rest my case.

delicious pumpkin soup on my kitchen counter (yep, it's blue)

Wow, looks very tasty!

Does it mean that you, in Germany normally don't cook hot soups in summer time?

Oh we do ... it is just that pumpkin soup is so heavy and thick in texture. Normally in summer we have light soups, clear vegetable soups with rice or noodles, but not thick soups.

Oh, I see. I understand now.

BTW, sorry for off-top, but could you give me a cue where to look for the d/l link of "Be nice to people" dorama with Shingo? I downloaded the 1st ep. of ot some time ago, but don't remember where... Now I'm finally a proud owner ;) of MU premium account, so can download from it without problems, but I can't find that link...

But under what name? May be I'm a complete "aho dono", ;) but I can't find "Be nice to people" there in the tags.

It's listed under its Japanese name: Hito ni Yasashiku
