For the last three days I have been wearing corduroys, thick socks and long sleeved jumpers - the days of summer are definitely over.

This summer was amazing and exciting. Days filled with picking gooseberries and wild brambles. Sitting in the shade of green leaves and having a picknick with friends and family. Swimming in the River Rhine and suntanning on the beach. Cuddling with my dogs and just daydreaming the days away. Discovering a new language and totally falling in love with it. Translating said language and having fun.

Warmly cuddled into a Pashmina, I'm watching the Perseides falling down at the balcony ... after the heavy rains and thunderstorms the night is cold and clear and the moon is almost round and fat. It illuminates the sky and its shooting stars.

Off to bed now ...
