It is so good to just sit at the PC and just be ... being curious about new updates on facebook and twitter, being anxious to read new messages on boards, being overall relaxed and watching dramas on-line. No writing, no spell testing ... no nothing :)

No nothing? ... washing up, clothes washing, decorating for Christmas, baking ...
Did I say nothing? Real life is here again :)

40209 words ... still only halfway through with editing the script and so many new additional ideas .. one which has been festering in my brain for a couple of days now is this .. what if Jin-Ho and Min-Young who play the folk tale heroes Yoon-Seo and Tae-Rim are actually their re-incarnations? Then the falling in love bits would come much more easily. On the other hand, it would take a away a lot of their own free will, being fated to be lovers and stuff. *sigh* 9791 words to go yet till Nov. 30th.
Oh and I want a sticker for my car ... Writing romance and proud of it :P *crazy cackle in the background*

So it is half past 9 on Friday morning and the panic I felt yesterday about a probable failure in this year's NaNoWirMo has slightly decreased. I'm still fretting but at least I have started to counteract the whole silliness going on in my head - paralyzing me - and I have written 22353 words so far. Still over 4000 words short to reach this day's goal but at least I'm getting there.

I'm writing scenes ... little snippets of conversation like in a drama and I will slip them in between bigger scenes where it is appropriate to make the characters more rounded and further the plot. I also want to extend on the sageuk plot that they are filming in the novel. Perhaps even starting each chapter with a scene from the sageuk and then in between developing a scene that furthers the plot of the sageuk while they actually film the scene. I hope I can pull it off though.

I also made a cover/collage (or two) to inspire me LOL I'm still not sure if my Lee Jin-Ho should look like Ji Hyun Woo or Lee Min Ho - I guess in my mind this character has a bit of both :)

I'm stuck! I'm stuck!! I'm stuck!!!

Basically the story I wanted to write is written, the whole thing needs to be edited and as a whole the story would be finished ... for just one little detail. The whole story is not a novel more of a novella and I only have 19526 words.

*sigh*

I need more drama, more twists and turns ... atm it is more of a romance of boy meets girl, boy falls in love, girl falls in love back, they have sex, they quarrel, threat of loosing each other, they live happily ever after *rolls eyes*
Too straight forward.

And yet, it is not ... there is so much more as it is basically two stories being told, the real life story and the story of the drama they are shooting. Ack!!

I think I need more Korean flavour ... more scenery from Seoul, from the palaces, the every day life on the streets etc. Atm it is just a story a kdrama audience would 'get' as a lot of things are not explained and a lot of expressions are used that WE all know but a non kdrama audience doesn't. *sigh*

I need to bounce ideas ... any takers?

Gosh, I feel old! Yesterday His Hubbiness™ and I drove 230 km to look at a second hand Opel Agila and we bought it.
There was just one problem, we needed to get the car back home. So I ended up driving my longest so far ... three hours behind the wheel and my neck and shoulders are killing me today. I know for some driving 230 km is nothing, but for me it's HUMONGOUS. BUT!!! Now I have a little Aoi-chan again ... and even better than the one that was totally wrecked by that stupid driver. :D

Hello July, hello Summer!!! I hope this time we will get a relatively warm summer and not such a rainy cold *something* like last year.

I realized today that my hairstyle hasn't changed much since I have been a child. I almost always had bangs with long curls LOL

His Hubbiness™ took some photographs at the Christmas Eve caroling. It was one of those rare moments where I didn't look like an old fat hag but like a young one LOL
I thought I'd share the two pics, His Hubbiness™ took :)

Gosh the last two days (including today) have been busy as I had this mad dash of inspiration and wanted to wrap up all the *you didn't finish them up in time so you can leave them till the new year* projects or at least get them off to a good start. But it was worth it :) The only thing I missed/forgot is to trim the tree LOL

But - all the walls in my sewing room are now white washed, the beams are a glistening dark brown and the dark awful looking doors to the built-in closet are now white and show off the wallpaper I put on two of the three doors to perfection. I was not too sure if my colour palette of grey, white and dusty pink would work, but it does. It looks fabulous and I'm so keen on putting up the rest of the shelves as well as the frames and my old Baroque mirror (which still needs fixing).

The whole house has been cleaned, dusted and cared for from top to bottom, even though I still need to wash the upstairs windows and I think I'm seeing the proverbial light at the end of a very deep, dark, and self-confessed tunnel. YAY!

Yesterday His Hubbiness ™ got a pre-birthday present (how very Sheldonesque) in form of a fleece sweater, then today, he got some camera gadgets and a board game. He also got a pre-Christmassy pressie today LOLbut I needed to move some stuff out of the way and instead of wrapping up some I gave it to him instead which he is now wearing with pride so everyone is happy. Just don't tell the Christkind or Santa LOL

I wish you all a Merry Christmas - eat, drink and be happy :)

Today, I realized how much I miss real life exchanges about things that are important to me. While walking the dogs with His Hubbiness™ and friends, I noticed that apart from topics like animal protection, our dogs and housework, I do not have a lot in common with the other women I spent time with. Not even with my two best friends but then we only meet once a year in August so that's okay.

No ... I noticed today that my whole fan girl life only takes place on-line or when [livejournal.com profile] little_witch27 is here. There are no SMAP fans around me, no VK fans ... and if they are they are far too young and could be my kids. No one really likes Asian doramas because they are not dubbed and how on Earth can I think Japan is cool, anyway?!

I guess this is all the fangirling I ever get off-line.

*sigh*

After the period of hell the last two days should have been better but somehow they weren't. Yesterday I minded a dog from a friend and while it was fun to see how my two dogs react to a third (to tell it with a famous french stage play HUIS CLOS !!), it was mentally exhausting. So exhausting that I lost my cell while walking three dogs.

So today was all about rushing to and fro, looking for the cell, phoning the lost and found bureau and then ending up at the local police station and getting my cell phone back. Then bearing the sniggers of some young idiot police officers after someone asked me who that girl is on my display ... Is it a singer, she is kinda hot ... Too bad it's not a girl. *sigh*

Anyway, I'm back home ...checked my messages, my dogs wait for their evening feed and I feel as if I have been runnig around on a marathon the whole day. I just want to sleep.

[livejournal.com profile] little_witch27, I'll talk to Olly tonight, though I can't be free before Tuesday night/Wednesday morning :( As I have to finish a book on a dead line and a web page I wanted to get out of the way to have the rest of the week off and that is pretty much a 24/7 job :(
